terms of use

pam is an app to save your world — the spots you love, the things you dream of, lists of them — and to share it with your friends: trade recos, ask for opinions. these terms are the rules for using pam. by creating an account you accept them, together with our privacy policy.

who runs pam

pam is operated by zerty, a french company registered in paris (siret 93332433), 34 rue de montholon, 75009 paris, france. contact: hello@pam-it.io.

your account

• you sign in with apple or google. you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use pam.
• one person, one account. your handle must not impersonate anyone or mislead about who you are.
• you are responsible for what happens on your account. if you think someone else is using it, write to us.

your content

• what you add — spots, things, lists, photos, notes, questions, comments — stays yours.
• you choose who sees each thing: just you, your friends, or everyone on pam. you give us the permission we need to store it and show it to the people you chose, and nothing more. we never sell it.
• only add what you have the right to share. don't post other people's photos or private information without their consent.

community guidelines — zero tolerance

pam is a kind place, on purpose. there is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. you must not post, send or share:

• harassment, bullying, threats, or hateful content targeting anyone for who they are;
• sexual or sexually suggestive content, or anything involving minors in an inappropriate way;
• violence, self-harm encouragement, or dangerous activities;
• illegal content, illegal goods or services, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• spam, scams, misleading content, or advertising disguised as recos;
• someone else's personal information without their consent.

report and block. you can report any profile, thing or comment, and block any user, from the "…" next to it in the app; you'll find the people you blocked in your settings. we review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or permanently ban the accounts that post it.

places, products and links

spots come with information from google maps / google places; things often link to other websites. those belong to their owners — pam is not affiliated with them and is not responsible for their content, prices or availability. recos and opinions on pam are the personal views of the people who share them.

using pam fairly

• no scraping, automated accounts or bulk actions;
• no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around pam's security;
• no use of pam to build a competing service or a dataset.

leaving pam

you can delete your account at any time in the app (tap your photo → delete my account, at the bottom). your account and content are removed as described in the privacy policy. we may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

the service

pam is free. we keep improving it, so features may change, and we may pause or end parts of the service. pam is provided "as is": to the extent permitted by law, zerty is not liable for indirect damages or for content posted by users. nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

app store

if you downloaded pam from the apple app store, apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies. these terms are between you and zerty only; apple is not responsible for pam or its content.

law and changes

these terms are governed by french law; the courts of paris have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers. if we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
